Maintenance of Diesel Generator Stations

Characteristic

TES provides maintenance, repairs and inspections in diesel generator stations (DGS) in order to ensure appropriate functioning of emergency power supply of the nuclear power unit.

Preventive maintenance Maintenance and inspection of the control system. Inspection of automatics and signal function of hot standby power supply. Inspection of signal function of the diesel engine. Inspection of automatics and signall function before and during engine commissioning. Diesel generator synchronisation check before connecting to power grid. Regular inspections of automatics and signalling systems at 3 min. check runs of diesel generator and regular operation of dieselgenerator within ELS tests.

Random maintenance Repairs of faults and check of the faultless operation of the equipment. Diagnostics of electrical and technological parameters using control system tools. Diagnostics of electrical and technological parameters by Mobile Measuring Unit MOSAD®-5.

Diagnostic measurement Preparation and development of operational programmes. Diagnostics of electrical and technological parameters  by direct measurement using Mobile Measuring Unit MOSAD®-5. Processing and analysis of measured data during implementation of operational programs and elaboration of final technical report.

Technical support of predictive maintenance Preparation of protocols and records of control system data related to diesel generators 3-minute test runs, regular tests of ELS automatics tests and EDG power supply test runs to the grid. Statistical processing of recorded electrical and technological parameters  and their analysis in the technical report of the complex evaluation of diesel generator operation. Record keeping of electrical parameters data ensured by monitoring system MOSAD® 5  purposely for frequency analysis of diesel generating set. Evaluation of current frequency condition of genset and elaboration of frequency analysis report.
