On February 9, 2026, a technical working meeting was held at the headquarters of TES s.r.o. in Třebíč, focused on electrical systems of nuclear power plants, in particular on secured power supply systems, battery systems, testing of electrical systems, and operating experience. The meeting was hosted under the auspices of our key customer, ČEZ, a. s. In addition to experts from TES s.r.o., the participants included representatives of Japanese energy companies and professional organizations, namely the Japan Nuclear Safety Institute (JANSI), Nikko Techno Co., Ltd., and Kansai Electric Power Co., Inc., as well as partners from ÚJV, a. s.
The discussions covered, among other topics, battery capacity and operability testing in accordance with IEEE Std 450, operating and maintenance experience with diesel generators, operating experience related to secured power supply systems, and a presentation of the MOSAD® monitoring system developed by TES s.r.o.
TES s.r.o. highly appreciates the interest shown by our Japanese colleagues, which we perceive as a confirmation of the company’s strong reputation and the high technical level of our solutions for nuclear power applications. Long-term cooperation with ČEZ, a. s., and TES’s involvement in key nuclear energy projects demonstrate that our work has practical importance for the safe and reliable operation of nuclear power plants.
We believe that sharing our experience and know-how can contribute to the further enhancement of nuclear safety, not only in the Czech Republic but also at the international level, including Japan. We consider such expert meetings to be an important step toward strengthening international cooperation in the field of nuclear safety and the reliability of electrical systems.
